Here is a Video Tutor on how to create a Blog :

After you are done creating a Blog it needs some contents in it. Post contents to the Blog. Contents can be your hobby something you like or something you know and want to share with others. If you ask me I have Blogs on things that I like for example Music, Movies etc. If you are good at cooking make a Blog on cooking and recipes. Isn’t it very simple?

Now the step required to actually get going with the AdSense program would be by signing up for the AdSense program, which you can be done by clicking the button on the top of the post.

Note: When you sign up, you'll need to provide a Web site or Blog URL on which you plan to put AdSense Ads. Not every website or Blog is approved, so make sure that your website or Blog has valuable contents and a design that does not have too many ads on it.

Once you're done signing up with Adsense and when you receive a mail from Google Adsense informing your approval for Adsense, it's time to log in and add your new AdSense advertisements to your Website or Blog.

How to add advertisements to your website or Blog:

When you log in, you'll see the following navigational bar: The Reports screen will display your earnings from your website or Blog.

Click on the "AdSense Setup" tab, select the first option that would be "AdSense for Content" and you'll be ready to configure your ad. Now, don't worry configuration is easy and fun too, you get to pick colors, sizes, and much more and then your next step will be to decide what type of advertisements you want Google to serve up on your own pages:

After you have clicked on Adsense for Content you will see a page like the one shown above. Click on the option single page to display the full Ad configuration box in a single page.

By now all the Ad configuration tabs should be in a single page. Now select type of ad you want to put on your blog or website, as shown above. Ad Unit displays 3 options Text ads and Image ads, Text ads only and Image ads only.

The next step after selecting the type of Ad unit you want to place would be the Ad format and the color. The ad format would be the shape of the ad you want place on your Website or Blog you can choose an ad which is best for your Website or Blog. Select the Ad format color and you can preview the ad by clicking on the last option which reads "Preview this Adsense unit"

The next section would be “Choose Ad Channels” :

What are channels?

According to Google Adsense, Channels enable you to view detailed reporting about the performance of specific pages and ad units. By assigning a channel to a combination of pages or ad units, you could track the performance of a leaderboard versus a banner, or compare your motorcycle pages to your automobile pages. You can even create a channel to track each of your separate domains, so that you can see where your clicks are coming from. While channels can be used to track performance and revenue, they will not have any effect on your earnings or ad targeting.

In Simple terms Ad Channels help you to keep a track of your ad revenues i.e. it enables you to check which ad is giving you how much $$.

Now how to add a channel? – Below the All Channels field there is an option called Add New Channel, click on it and name it. For example I have named the Ad Channel on the right hand side of this Blog as Adsense-Skycraper. After the channel has been added it would display on the All Channels section now click on add to select that channel for the particular ad. That’s it now your ad will be tracked through the channel name you have specified.

And the last option would be "Save and Get Ad Code" here you can specify a name for your ad unit by replacing 728x90, created 07/01/08 to one of your choice just like the example provided Home page, 300x250 ads. Choosing a name would help you edit the ad settings later on.

Now, click on Submit and Get Code to get your ad code. Copy and Paste the Ad Code on your Website or Blog and start displaying Ads. The picture blow is an example on how your ad code would look like:

Warning: Never Click On Your Own Ads.

Don’t be impatient if you don’t see clicks on your ads. Be patient promote your Website or Blog which is a key to drive traffic to your site.

The most common mistakes that a new AdSense participant makes is to click on an advertisement to make $$. It sounds easy, but Google AdSense will ban you from their program if you click on ads shown on your own ads.

Anyway, I hope you all got to know the basic set of steps. Now what are you waiting for? Don't delay and don't wait for tomorrow. Scroll up to the beginning of this article to sign up for AdSense by clicking on the icon and turn your Website or Blogs into a money making machine.
